PTO Presentation

Cornerstone Charter Academy has a very active Parent Teacher Organization in addition to a school board. Last year, we presented to them and brought them to tears. They decided to give us a very generous $1,000 and helped get our team off the ground.

We decided to return to the PTO to express our gratitude and also ask for $650 for the new season. Demonstrating our success in part because of their contribution, we presented our accomplishments. We also presented FIRST’s vision. The PTO Chairman was brought to tears by our presentation, especially blown away by our quote from Dean Kamen: “...to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.” Unanimously agreeing to the $650, they explained how glad they were for this opportunity for us.
